The Wicked Truth

She’s like a bushfire during dry season,

Suddenly upon you in an instant,

Smothering you in the next,

Just like the fog after the rain.

Like all summer girls she is,

Partying in bikinis and flip flops,

That she does,

From Tokyo to Paris.

During the fall,

Leaves turn yellow,

In love people fall,

But how long it lasts, you’d never know.

Frost creeps like a shadow,

Sneaking in from behind and catching you unaware,

Today you’ll have a row,

And tomorrow you’ll be alone.

Spring knocks on your door early in the morning,

Demanding that you embrace him with smiles and all,

Hoping that you’ll spring from all that crying,

Go outside and play ball.

Life isn’t always like the seasons,

Changing all the time,

We do something for a reason(s),

But don’t put your foot out of line.

Things may not seem to make sense all the time, but fret not. That’s life. If life were to be all sensible, logical, and well organized; then where’s the fun in living a life?

Think of what you want in your life and go for it. However, don’t put 100% in it because there’s a fairly high percentage of a chance that you might or will fail, but that’s where it’s fun.

Failures are a test to poke and prod you until you succeed, or for some people, give up. I never give up, even though sometimes life is really hard and there’s nowhere to turn to, no shoulder to lean on or cry on, nobody to dab those tears away; but you’d still have to suck it all up and brave through the day.

Once you’ve been able to overcome this hurdle in life, it would no longer be an obstacle for you. Life is full of tasks, deeds and some really nasty stuff; but that’s what makes it fun. Without all the fun things in life, life would get pretty boring you know.

There may be a really mean person who is bullying you, be it in sports, academics, race, religion, or just about anything; it’s okay. Smile and walk away, it’ll save you a whole lot of trouble. Don’t pick fights, but choose the best ones out of the whole lot.
