Feminine Gentleman

Feminine behaviour in men are often associated with gay culture. Why?
Is there a set of rules and regulations as guidelines for how a man should behave and what makes a man, an man?

The stereotypical way of describing gentle and sensitive are with a single word.

Gay.

Does gay-ness refer to an emotional and graceful attitude by a man, or can it be a genetic trait or quirk in him, that makes him, him?

What do you think?

Are gay men born gay, or is gay-ism a learned behaviour?

What if a man expresses both masculine and feminine traits equally, where neither overpowering the other? What is he?

Is he gay? Or is he androgynous?

Homosexuality is not an illness, or that's what many many people think so.

It has nothing to do with mental disorders, nor are they making it up.
They deserve respect from other straight peers, not discrimination.

Let's have a situation.
If someone close to you was gay, let's say your brother or best friend.
What would you do?

Would you despise him and treat him like he's infected with some devastating disease?
Or would you embrace his sexuality and treat him as he is?

Does it matter if he is gay?
