I don't do things for the sake of doing it, nor do I do it for the best possible outcome.
I do it for the experience.
When it comes to a labour of love, doing the things I want to do, it no longer revolves around how good it seems from another's perspective.
I do it for myself, and for myself it is done.
Many people I bump around all day knock out a couple of half-assed "unloved" pieces of bits and pieces all over the place. Most of the time, they get better outcomes than I do (in terms of academics).
Why?
I care not.
