Wheel Man
This is NOT my bike =) |
A man always puts his priorities before himself (well some men to be certain).
In this instance, his car may be one of his most important assets if he does not have a partner.
When his car is damaged, he is hurt; and he will do anything to make it better.
(For me, its my bike).
He would rather starve to save up,
He would slave away to earn more,
To keep himself alive,
And to keep his love with him.
To do anything it takes.
To be a wheel man.

Driver
I am always around,
Hiding in the corners,
Trapeze behind the shadows,
Where the secrets are abound.
I am always working,
There are no time for naps,
When slaves can be kings,
Then I may just as well collapse.
I'm not an overachiever,
Nor am I like everybody else,
I drive myself to death,
Just so I can be better than everyone else.

Fresh Marmalade
In the confinement of the space we often label as the shower, I have had the opportunity to think, doubt, then ruminate upon the greater occurrences in reality, outside the realm of the "imagination-based lies of life".
Today, I remembered happiness.
The feeling of that certain emotion, that we don't entirely understand. The one we describe as happiness.
What is it? What does it consist of? Is it a purely chemical our pituitary gland and the hypothalamus produces when triggered by a chain of actions; or is it an intense intellectual happening?
Swarming my soon to be over-crowded mind, these thoughts start to asphyxiate me. The tendrils of steam from the hot shower worms its way into my lungs through the crevices known as the nostrils and the mouth.
I am drowning from the psychological confusion and the evaporated water molecules in the enclosed of the 'be-naked' area.

Expectancy
In our minds will always be,
Cleaning, cooking, married off somewhere,
That woman in a dress, shorts, pants, or none,
What a woman is expected to be.
Work and study is can be,
Yet how about housework and cooking maybe?
She works and plays but could not stay,
As she does not do whatever they say.
We always expect a certain number of things someone is SUPPOSED to be able to do, but who are we to do so?

A Favour
http://freeobjectone.blogspot.com.au/2011/02/time-stop.html |
What happens when you stop motion, as in literally?
You'd get vertigo; or so I suppose.
I'll be finding out, and exploring cinematography via stop-motion in figuring out what happens when motion stops.
Confused much? Hahaha (me too)

Taboo
In many ways, AGE is a deterrent to change. |
Things we see, hear and feel,
Yet those things we discuss not.
Masked in discretion,
Some of us use our rights to "see".
What fuels this bizarre feat?
To prohibit, yet succumb to it.
No written laws, rules or regulation,
Yet we strictly abide it.
If the scenario was put in reverse,
Where written rules become an unwritten verse.
What good would have come,
If the yet to come is good.

Crystal Meth
Fleets of snow cascade,
Salt, liquids, the cold and more.
One poor sod shivering in the cold,
Ten starving mice feasting on his bones.

Lucid Dreaming
This used to be my sacred elephant. The last of its kind. J.A. |
Burrowing deep into the web of dreams,
Cocooning in between the seams.
Skulking behind the elongated rows,
I come and go like a farmer's sows.
Slick and unseen, forward I creep,
For it is I, who steals the sheep.
Vermin and serpents slither away,
As I approach, thou shalt be aware.
Stabbing and slicing with the tools I dare,
For I am the one who does not care.
Screams of pleasure and screams of pain,
The end will soon come to the latter.
A hermit once told me,
"I would emerge once the shadow consumes the bear",
For he did not know,
He was the shadow and the bear.
Confusion ties reality and despair,
Like the sun and the shadow,
Jeans and jackets,
With buttons to spare.

Winter Without Heaters
I personally don't like electrical heating. Why?
Apart from racking up an enormous electricity bill (which is way out of budget), it makes the room kinda dry and uncomfortable.
With that said, I'd rather skint on the bills and load up the boat =)
Investing in good sleeping gear is essential for the cheapskate hiding underneath the rock ;)
I wear a -10'c sleeping bag, 2 quilts, 1 blanket, 1 hoodie + jacket, and a beanie to bed.
My sleep set-up/ aka SLEEPUP! |
Warm and toasty, save those electricity bills to pay for food =D
Caribee Jumbo Snow Drift -10'c Sleeping bag. Got it for $47 delivered from Scoopon, regular price is about $79 - 89 ?
- 200gsm Techloft Extreme Fill (Two Layers)
- -10 degree Celsius Rating
- 240cm x 90cm Dimensions
- Draw cord hood, draft collar and draft tube to help reduce heat loss.
- Velcro tab to help secure the main zipper (left side)
- Overlapping zippers (enable open/closing from inside)
- Bottom tabs (x2) to enable securing bag to mattress
The bag sack build quality is a little flimsy though, making the job of putting it back fairly frustrating. |
